The first ever season where InterTeam tried to establish some ground in the OCM-world. After a flying start it soon became clear that the confidence within the team in captain Maerschalck was grounded. Thanks to his successes other teammates could also ride some very nice results.
These successes brought InterTeam to the sixth division. Here it soon became clear that InterTeam still has a very long way to go to become successful. The too strong field of participants brought a stop to the performance of InterTeam and Sebastiaan M. had to make clear choices to work out a plan in the long term.
The goal for next season should be to confirm the intentions to become a long term player in this international league. This can only be achieved by regaining results and increasing the quality of the team, for this InterTeam will have to show patience and hope to drop tactically in the rankings in order to end up in a division where the field of participants is more equal to the quality which InterTeam is having now in their ranks.
Season 52 was a fantastic learning school for InterTeam, for the riders and for the manager Sebastiaan Moeremans.
InterTeam would like to thank all his sponsors for the financial support, but also the other managers within OCM who were always ready with wise advice and words of support.
On to season 53, on to a new season full of surprises.
